Evolving my reading System

The inspiration behind the creation of this website was so that I could record my 13 additional cards experience that I have created and added to my makeshift deck. I also use the Rana George deck with her extra cards as well. (Spirit, Incense, Bed, Marketplace).

I have to admit that using the Rana George extra cards did add more depth to my Lenormand readings, over time those extra cards also developed added meanings too. So it got me thinking, what if I added extra cards? Then I'll be able to free up some cards in my Lenormand deck with less key words, so less guess work and with the additional cards it will only mean one thing.

I don't know about you, but for me, in the early years of learning the Lenormand, there would of been many times when I thought, "Hmmm, do I use that keyword or that one? For example, Bear—keywords: management, finances, or food? Which one? I guess it does also depend on the context of the question, but if you are like me and like to pull a daily read and there is no question, only "What will I experience today?" Just as a side note, the bear usually shows up for me as someone in management, like a manager/supervisor, and/or someone who is an expert or specialist in their field.

When I first started using the extra cards of the Rana George deck, I felt guilty, I thought, "This is not the traditional Lenormand." maybe it was just an echo of my first teacher who had taught me, as she was staunchly traditional, when it came to the deck, she was from a lineage of Traditional Lenormand readers in France taught at a very early age, I have to say though, she was brilliant at her craft, and she had adapted a few of the cards like "Whip" to also mean "sex" where initially the card "Lily" was assigned. She found it was the card that kept coming up for the subject over and over again. In this case the cards spoke.

Another interest of mine that also inspired me to want to add extra cards was watching my favorite tarot reader; "Tarot by Janine" on YouTube (now on Rumble) where she would deep dive into world events and subjects that some would probably call "Conspiracy theories" I think that phrase was termed by those who didn't want people to know the truth, and to put people off from looking down the "rabbit hole" Anyway, from observing her readings, she had assigned certain meanings to the cards so that everytime they showed up it would mean this or that, she had adapted it so that it would apply to the context of her World Event readings.

So through out my blog, I will reveal each of my additonal cards.
